Yesterday we stayed at the trailer and Mike made our reservations for the next couple of months; we are all booked till the middle of September and he's now debating whether to book us into a nudist campsite for a week or so. I spent the day doing I'm not really sure what, the day just kinda got away from me. I did clean Tal-y's teeth which she loved, not.
Today we went to the Fillmore County Fair in Preston but I think we got there a little early as nothing was going on a midday except there were lots of animal trailers parked around the place. We headed to Lanesboro which is a really cute little place and which is on the National Register of historic Places as the buildings there were built by the Norwegian immigrants around 150 years ago. It was nice wandering around the downtown and we visited the local winery and got to taste some of the wine made here from the locally grown fruit and veg.
Afterwards we headed to a little restaurant in the middle of nowhere in a place called Highland and had a really nice veggie lunch and chatted to the owner who it turns out is trying to save the locals one green drink at a time.

Mike: Nice town, I don't think there has been a new building in the last 150 yrs.
Bad for the lumber business.
