I was making dinner tonight and heard some rustling outside the front door; I figured it was the birds on the feeder since the Jays especially make a lot of noise when they are throwing seed everywhere. Turns out that it was a different kind of bird than the ones we normally get eating from the feeder. I think it’s going to cost us a little more to keep this variety fed, but at least he seemed to like what was out there.
