Took off today from White Cloud and headed north to Gaylord. The drive was very uneventful but very beautiful. This part of the state is alot more picturesque than where we've been so far, lots more trees and not quite so flat. Michigan really is a beautiful state with all the pines and the lakes, it's a shame that the houses and surrounding areas are for the most part not very well kept; there are lots of run down sad looking homes here. Also the people in michigan (Michiganites, Michigonians??) are not very inventive when coming up with road names, we passed One Mile Road, Two Mile Road, Three Mile Road... well you get the picture (at least now I understand the movie name); a little more creativity please!
We got to the new park this afternoon and got set up. It's not too bad, at least it's clean and tidy which is good since we are here for the next week.

Mike: nice park, indoor pool and a water slide-yippee!!! Opps that means kids too!
