Seriously, is there anymore rain up there? We left Lazy Lakes camp
ground today and headed for Parish in upstate New York. The rain
started around eight this morning just as we were getting packed up,
and still hasn’t let up. We got soaked hitching up this morning, and
before we left we stripped and dumped all our wet clothes in the
bathtub. Now I have two sets of wet clothes to deal with as we got
soaked again while we were setting up here in Parish. The drive took
us about four hours and it rained the whole time, sometimes it was
difficult to see the road, especially when the dumb trucks sped past
and kicked up all the water off the road. When we got to the campsite,
they gave us a space which is all grass and thus today is actually all
mud. It was not fun getting set up, I was cold and miserable and I’m
sure Mike felt the same way since he was out in the rain longer than I
was. Hopefully tomorrow will be nicer.
Mike: Whine, whine, whine, it's just a little water!
