Mike got up extra early this morning and got all bundled up and headed out into the cold. He wanted to be at the dealership early so that if Serena needed any work done she could get fixed up today. I spent the morning at the trailer just tidying up and stuff cos there’s not really anywhere to go here other than for a walk up the freeway.
Mike wasn’t gone as long as I’d thought he would be, he was back by noon with Serena who was feeling much better. Turns out she had a bad wheel hub and needed a new one, so that’s what her dad got for her. He also got her 90,000-mile service and $1,100 later she’s rip roaring ready to go anywhere.
Mike had to go get propane again today; this is our third tank in the last few weeks. For the first 8 months of living in this trailer we only had to fill the propane tank once, now since it’s been so cold we’ve gone through three bottles. I guess the heater uses a lot more gas than the cooker.

Mike:Serena is much happier! Typical female, just keep pouring $$$ down the spout!
