We decided not to go anywhere this morning as Mike wanted to spend some time plotting the next leg of our journey. He left Tal-y and me in bed, and just as we decided to get up and go walk it started raining. It wasn’t just a shower either, it poured down and left huge puddles of water everywhere. I spent the morning reading until I noticed the water running across the trailer floor, then I spent a while mopping it up and emptying cupboards to sop up the water in them. Not the most fun morning but I’m glad I was here to mop up before it got in all the cupboards. I would not have wanted to get home only to discover Tal-y swimming around the trailer! Mike didn’t have a greatly productive morning either, he plotted where we are going through September, but couldn’t book anything as the phone number was constantly busy. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Tal-y and me had a nice walk after the rain stopped, a nice sweaty walk as the rain and thunder storm didn’t cool anything down. This weather makes my skin feel nice even if it isn’t much fun to do anything in.
Took a drive into Newaygo this pm after lunch but since I hadn’t washed I figured I probably shouldn’t get out of the car; today I look like I belong in this park!
Off to bed now, if I can find room in it between Mike and puppy.
