Woke up to the rain today so didn’t rush out of bed. When I did get up I had a nice leisurely morning reading and drinking coffee. We did have to head to Starbucks to get online as our internet here died on Monday when the electricity was cut. Most of the campsite is without electricity until at least Thursday since it is being serviced I think as a result of a flood last week. Since the router is in the clubhouse we don’t have any internet as the clubhouse is not hooked up to the generator as we are. After checking email and stuff we drove into Belvidere and took a bug free walk around Belvidere Park. The town is quite blighted with a lot of places closed down but they have a beautiful well-kept park. Tal-y had a blast especially when she discovered the squirrels that inhabited the place. She wasn’t so fussy on the bridge across the river though and although I tried to drag her across she wasn’t having any of it. Mike: It’s a really cool park (Belvidere) , no sqeeters!
