Mike: Lucky for us we always have dirty laundry! Becc is still trying to bond with the little piggy’s. I’m surprised she didn’t try to milk them.

Off to the Geagau County Fair today which is the oldest county fair in Ohio. We got there about mid morning and it was already fairly busy. It was actually a good size fair with rides and games as well as lots of food stalls. The main part of it though was the animals, and there were loads of 4H clubs there with lots of kids showing animals from rabbits to horses. Not long after we got there it started to pour with rain so we had to buy french fries and then find somewhere dry to eat them. In between rainstorms we wandered around looking at the animals; there were more cute piglets and we saw Brenda’s baby. It started getting cloudier and darker so we decided to head home, just as we got on the trailer to take us back to our car the heavens opened. We were stuck on the trailer with no umbrella and no cover over us, we got soaked. The rainwater was literally running out of my knickers and it was so cold. By the time we got to the aisle where we had parked we were completely soaked through to the skin, fortunately I had a bag of dirty laundry in the back seat of the truck so we stripped off in the parking lot and put dirty clothes on; at least they were dry dirty clothes. It’s a shame about the weather as it would have been fun to stay longer, but we had a good day.
