Got up this morning, packed up and got on the road by 10.00. We drove south heading towards Rochester, MA to a camp site called Gateway to Cape Cod. The drive was uneventful mostly, although we did have some rain right about the time we were driving through the middle of Boston. Since we were a little later there wasn't too much traffic so we didn't lose hardly any time. We did however drive through a super long tunnel that runs under Boston harbor which stunk of exhaust fumes, and we got to pay another toll for the privilege of going over the Tobin Bridge. Once we got past Boston everything was smooth sailing and we arrived a little before one this afternoon. The park is nice; it'll probably seem better when it isn't so gloomy outside. At least there's lots of places to walk Tal-y, and it has its own cranberry bog. It isn't technically a bog yet as it doesn't look like it's been flooded; maybe they'll do it while we are here and we'll get to go cranberry harvesting.
I was kinda sad to be leaving Maine today, I would have liked to have stayed longer as we didn't get to see very much of it and the bits we did see were lovely. It's one of the nicer states we have visited so far and I might even like to live there; Mike says I'd change my mind around the middle of December! Whatever, hopefully we'll get to go back and visit some more maybe next year or in 2012.

Mike: I like Maine too!
