We got to choose our own space and there were plenty available with full hooks up so we set to work getting set up. I had to leave and go for a walk while Mike unhitched the trailer as our space is on a bit of a slope and so the trailer had to be cranked up high to get it off the truck hitch; it still freaks me out every time he does it, even after all this time so it’s best I take a little stroll.
After we got sorted we drove back into Bridgeport for lunch. We ate at a Mexican place that was super busy; this is usually a good sign as it means the food is good, and it wasn’t bad. We tried to find a place to get our propane tank filled too while we were in town but there was nothing open, maybe tomorrow.
This evening we went over to the lodge to watch tv as we don’t have too many channels at the trailer. It is so dark here once the sun goes down, there are no street lights or lights of any kind, and we barely made it to the lodge. There was a guy in there already when we arrived and he wanted us to play cards with him. We didn’t, but I felt so bad for him as I think he was on his own and quite lonely. Maybe I’ll make Mike go over tomorrow night and play cards with him!
Mike! maybe you won't!
