Today we took a drive over the river and visited Laughlin. It's kind of like a mini Las Vegas but not really as there's non of the glitz. What is there are 11 casinos all along the bank of the Colorado where you can go and lose everything you own.
Since the weather was absolutely beautiful today we took a lovely stroll along the river and watched the boats and the birds. We did go into almost all the casinos just to check them out and discovered that they are like every other casino we've ever been in. The tables weren't too busy but the slot machines were being worked pretty good. I got to have a go on the slots, but only the penny ones which was probably a good thing since I managed to lose all my money, all $4.00 of it and Mike had to cover me with his winnings. I'd love to have a go at craps or blackjack, but only if I could play with someone elses money, at least until I figured out what I was doing.
