We've been here in Menifee now for two weeks and tomorrow we are leaving Southern California for a while to head north to Wyoming. The last couple of weeks have been busy although we haven't done anything of any interest to anyone else.
Firstly we have a new fifth wheel at last. Well we don't technically have it yet, but we have settled on one and we just have to go to Wyoming to get it. It's a new Cougar with a lovely living space, a big kitchen and a separate bathroom; I'm very excited about having so much extra room than what we have at the moment. The dealership up there is going to take our trailer in trade, it's new so I don't have to deal with anyone else's s@*t (literally), and we got it for the money we wanted to pay, what else could we ask for - I know, for it not to be snowing in Cheyenne when we get there and for it to be warmer than 10 degrees! We should have it no later than early March.

We have spent the rest of the time we've been here getting ready to take off. We moved all our stuff from one storage unit in San Diego to a smaller one here. We had to rent a second small one as we've taken almost everything out of the trailer so the transfer will be easy, but when we get back most of what's in the second storage unit will be going in the trailer.
We decided that our 'residence' is going to be in South Dakota and so we have a new address. Mike spent a good few frustrating days changing our address on all our stuff, bank accounts, credit cards, etc. It's amazing how complicated some of these people make it just to change an address, but it's mostly done now.
We also found the time to spend some time with some good friends here in San Diego, and I'm going to miss then when we leave, although we'll see them again in a few weeks when we come back, and then they'll be able to come visit as we'll have space in the trailer to entertain them - Mike is so excited!
I almost forgot, the thing Mike is actually excited about is his newest present, his satellite. We finally decided to get one and do away with the frustration of trying to get more than 2 channels on the antenna. after talking to a guy in Pio Pico we are now the proud owners of a Tailgater satellite. It's amazing, it was really simple to set up, we get bunches of channels (still nothing on any of them), and when we move from place to place the dish finds the satellite by itself so Mike doesn't have to spend hours doing it - awesome.

Mike: I like my new Satellite! and my geese, and my ducks!
