Well it’s been 3 nights now and we are still here in Coos Bay and will be for a while longer. It is a bit of a pain having to hang around here but at least the park had space available. I called on the way here and booked us in through tonight, but when we found out the truck wasn’t going to be ready until at least tomorrow we extended our stay. That caused a little problem because apparently the space they gave us was reserved from tomorrow onwards for a rally, but they were nice enough to sort it out and we are now checked in till Thursday. The park is right alongside Coos Bay but it’s not that pretty too look at, mostly because there’s a huge parking lot between the bay and the park. The people in the front row are paying extra to have the bay view, but it’s not really worth it, and besides most of them spend all day in the casino so they aren’t looking at it anyway.

Although we are stuck here, at least the Ford dealership did give us a loaner car (when we drive in it I feel like I'm sitting on the road, it's so low) so we can at least leave the park. We haven’t been far, mostly food shopping, but we did get Mike all stocked up on shoes ready for when we start work, and we did visit the casino once. We went to try to get some dinner but it was a seafood buffet so we gave it a miss.
Mike: Becc, you poor soul, you have a tough life!
