We took the quick trip into Olympia today, the capital of Washington State. We stopped off at the visitor information center to get some brochures and check out what was happening in the city, but the guy in the office didn’t have a whole lot of suggestions for us. So we headed downtown and visited the farmer’s market where we bought some lovely fruit, and then took a stroll to the port to check out the boats.
We drove home along what we thought was a scenic drive along highway 12, but I think the scenic part must have been a different part of the highway than we were on as there wasn’t anything to see.

Mike: Nice farmer's market, but not much else!
